What are the basics? Food, shelter, clothing, clean drinking water to name a few.
Relationships, meaningful work, time in nature. Simplicity…..
The modern world WE live in requires so much, but also accomplishes so little. Sounds like a waste of precious time….
Yet, the basic needs of humankind have not changed.
Humans still want to be wealthy, famous, and surrounded by luxuries. Nothing wrong with that, but can we also be grounded, humble and compassionate as well?
What has changed is humans’ capacity to devour the earth in search of these luxuries, and the speed with which this can be enacted. This is fueled even more so by technology, social media and “comparison culture.”
Of course we want to be seen and have our voices heard, but at what capacity?
Will we compromise our authenticity for this recognition, or can we discover that within ourselves at a basic level? The more introspective we get, the more comfortable we become with who we are as we access the innate wisdom WE ALL carry.
Of course the combination of microdosing and proper mentorship can get us there quicker.
How can we start to go about this?
Here are 4 Tips
1.) Spend more time in quiet discernment and less time in the busybody, frantic activity.
2.) Subtract more stuff (people, places and things included) to be happier.
3.) Do less, and flow with more?
